Imlek Fun 2026

Celebrating Language Through Culture

ORACLES STUDIOS held Imlek Fun on 28 February 2026 as a special Lunar New Year activity for our learning community.

The event created an opportunity to bring the cultural context surrounding Mandarin closer to children and families through a festive studio experience.

More Than Learning Words

Language and culture are closely connected.

For learners of Mandarin, celebrations such as Imlek can provide meaningful context for understanding traditions, familiar expressions, symbols, and the cultural environment in which the language is used.

Imlek Fun was designed to make that connection more tangible and enjoyable.

A Festive Learning Experience

The event featured the Imlek-themed angpao activity promoted under the theme:

“Ambil Angpao, Ambil Keberuntungan!”

It was held in scheduled batches during the day and promoted as a free activity with no minimum purchase requirement.

Beyond the festive element, the broader purpose was to:

• introduce children to cultural experiences connected with Mandarin;
• create positive associations between language and real-world traditions;
• encourage participation and curiosity;
• bring families into a shared studio experience; and
• show that learning can also happen through celebration and community activities.

Stay Connected for Future Cultural Activities
